Born in former East Berlin, Anja made her move West and later took advantage of the fall of the Berlin Wall to travel through Europe, the Middle East, and Australia before returning to Germany for her professional training as a photographer.

The travel bug lured her off overseas again until she finally alit in New Zealand back in 1999.

Today Anja lives in Auckland with her Kiwi husband and two children. Even though her family and business keep her very busy, she is still always on the lookout for a great image or location.

…I love working with people, capturing them in their lives, treasuring very special moments for them. That sure puts a smile on my face.
In my ‘spare’ time I love reading, taking pictures (yes I do), travel, food and wine, music…well, I guess all nice things with a good measure of culture thrown in.
